Lyndoch Shiraz

District Wines
Lyndoch Shiraz
The district of Lyndoch, at the cooler Southern end of the Barossa Valley floor, is known for creating Shiraz with lifted aromatics and fine tannins. Robert and Nanette Staker’s low-yielding sustainable Lyndoch vineyard, grown on red/brown soils rich with calcium and ironstone, has been providing fruit to Peter Lehmann for many years, contributing fragrance and texture to some of the flagship wines. This single-vineyard wine captures the richness of their fruit with aromas of spice, dark cherry and chocolate.
This wine is deep red in colour with aromas of dark black fruits and rich chocolate that carry through to the palate and finish with a robust yet rounded mouth feel.
