Without our growers loyalty and support the winery would not exist
Peter Lehmann Wines was established primarily for the grape growers of the Barossa. Company vineyards account for less than two per cent of total production, and the winery would not exist without the 140 family farmers that supply fruit from all corners of the region.
Most growers are small-scale vignerons, with an average of 20 – 70 acres of vines, providing fruit of great individual character.
Viticulturist Tony Marshall works closely with the growers to consistently improve quality. Every grower understands they are making wine – not just growing grapes.
It is a tight-knit family that gets together every year in November to celebrate the new wines of the year’s vintage.
