South Australian Living Arts Festival 2024

Peter Lehmann Wines is proud to support the 2024 South Australian Living Arts Festival. We will be showcasing art throughout our beautiful cellar door from Claude Portelli, Rachel Demarchi and Stuart Hoerisch.

Claude Portelli from Portelli Designs - masterfully creates stunning pieces through a style called the 'Polly Method'. This is the process of using a series of triangles cut to specific sizes and combined to create a sense of movement. Be prepared to enjoy the beauty of movement and the art of precision by this esteemed artist.

Rachel Demarchi - It's never too late for new beginnings is this emerging artists motto - and she is taking time out for herself to explore and create. Enjoy these stunning paintings and start your artistic journey of appreciation.

Stuart Hoerisch - Stuart’s current style that he pursues in his art is far removed from the detailed pen and pencil realist way he captured the landscape in his early days. Now his work is more of an interpretation of the places he paints. Broad strokes with palette knives, sweeping gestures, added textural elements all go into creating his stunning take on the landscape of the northern Barossa region and other Australian environments. Stuart has also been a passionate educator inspiring both young people and adults to follow their art abilities and passions. They have been lucky to be influenced and supported by such a prolific local artist.
